The Institute of Political Science welcomes you to join a series of talks and workshops by Dr. Karol Chwedczuk-Szulc from the University of Wroclaw.<\/p>\n
All events will take place in the\u00a0GWZ,\u00a0<\/strong>Beethovenstr. 15, 04107 Leipzig<\/strong>,\u00a0room H4 1.16<\/strong><\/p>\n Tuesday, October 19, 11:00am-13:00pm, GWZ, room H4 1.16<\/strong><\/p>\n Talk with a discussion:\u00a0\u201cThe Hamiltonian moment? A civil war? The United States of Europe? What can and cannot happen with the EU in the coming years\u201d<\/em> Workshop I: \u201cSocial constructivism predicting future \u2013 is that even possible?\u201d<\/em> Workshop II:\u00a0\u201cShould the EU get rid of illiberal regimes like Poland and Hungary?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Karol Chwedczuk-Szulc\u00a0<\/strong>is assistant professor at the University of Wroclaw. He\u00a0<\/strong>holds a PhD in Political Science and MA in Sociology and International Relations. Currently, his research focuses primarily on EU-US comparative studies, juxtaposing American Civil War with current EU’s crises in socio-historical perspective. He was a research fellow at the American University in Washington DC in 2015\/2016 and a Fulbright Schuman Grant recipient in 2019.
